A HUGE thank you to all of our students and families that donated money towards our mini dance marathon. We are so proud of how our students stepped up to show their support for the two families we are assisting. Students danced on Friday, February 28, and raised $2,800 to be split between the two families. Thank you to DJ Curtis (Mr. Hendrickson) for donating his talents and time as DJ at our event. Our Peer Leaders, along with the Junior Optimist organization, worked together to bring this event to our school.

Congratulations to Emma Olsem in 6th grade who was chosen to attend this year's OPUS honor choir. This is a tremendous accomplishment for any student in choir. With over 2400 students that were nominated by their directors only 720 students were accepted into OPUS from a recorded audition. Way to go Emma!

Congratulations to Hudson Thirtyacre for his acceptance into the 2024 All-Iowa Middle School Jazz Band! This band is made up of 20 students from across the state and he was selected as the singular vibraphonist. Great job Hudson!
